It is not possible for a surgery to directly remove a review. However, it is possible to report feedback directly from a profile page. This temporarily disables the review from the site and highlights it to a member of the moderation team for review. If the moderation team deem the review to be acceptable and in no way contradicts iWantGreatCare's terms and conditions, the review will be re-published.
Millions of reviews have been made by patients through iWantGreatCare and the overwhelming majority of them are positive. Abusive comments are rare - partly because patients have to provide a validated email address to add a review. iWantGreatCare has developed a multi-layered security system which deploys automated, statistical and technical solutions to detect spurious or malicious ratings, as well as to prevent campaigning and multiple reviews.
Occasional negative comments are received and many people find this feedback helpful in highlighting an area for improvement.
To report a review:
1) - Click the 'Report this review' link under the feedback.
2) - Add your email address. A link will be sent to confirm that the review is being reported.
3) - Click on the link in the email. The feedback will then be sent to a member of our Moderation team.
Reviews can only be reported once. If the review is deemed appropriate and the moderation team re-publish the review, you will not be able to report it again.
