How to register with iWantGreatCare

    iWantGreatCare provides a comprehensive solution to collect and report continuous real-time patient feedback. With an iWantGreatCare account, you can create a complete practitioner profile.

You can then begin gathering feedback from patients, respond to each review in your own words, create reports based on patient feedback, and utilise that feedback for revalidation. The iWantGreatCare solution is completely free for clinicians and takes less than 5 minutes to get started.

The following document outlines how to register with the iWantGreatCare site as a registered clinician practicing in the United Kingdom. Currently, the following clinician/provider types can register with iWantGreatCare:

The first step to creating your account is to register your preferred email address. To do this, follow these steps:

1) Navigate to https://www.iwantgreatcare.org/register

2) Enter your preferred email address in the email address field

3) Enter your preferred password^*1 in the password field

^1*passwords need to be 8 characters long and can contain letters, numbers, and symbols

4) Select the ‘Register’ button

5) Navigate to your email account inbox and open the ‘Activate your iWantGreatCare account’ email

6) Select the ‘Confirm my email address’ link

Profile Setup (part 1)

To continue your registration, you must set up your personalised profile. To do this, follow these steps:

1) Navigate to https://www.iwantgreatcare.org

2) Select ‘Login’ at the top-right of the page

3) Enter your email address field provided

4) Enter your password in the field provided

5) Select a title from the title dropdown list

6) Enter your first name in the first name field

7) Enter your last name in the last name field

8) Select a clinician type from the ‘Which service are you registering for?’ dropdown

9) Enter your professional body number in the field provided

a. If a profile already exists on the iWGC site for you, an overview of this profile will appear now. View the profile and ensure it’s you, then proceed to step 12

b. If a profile does not already exist on the iWGC site for you, a message will appear to denote a profile could not be found. To create one, proceed to step 12

10) Select on the provided checkbox to agree to the iWantGreatCare terms and conditions

11) Select on the blue confirmation button 

Profile Setup (part 2)

Finally, to complete your profile setup, follow these steps:

1) Enter your desired display name in the ‘Name’ field^*1

2) If applicable, add any associated webpages by Selecting the ‘Add another webpage’ button^*2

3) Enter a bio in the ‘Profile description’ field provided

4) To upload a profile image, Select the ‘Choose file’ button under the ‘Upload a profile image’ header*3

5) You can associate a place of work, such as a hospital or GP practice, to your profile by entering the name of the workplace in the ‘Places of work’ field^*4

6) If applicable to your clinician type, you can associate a speciality to your profile by selecting a speciality from the ‘Specialities’ dropdown

7) When you’ve finished making changes, Select the ‘Save profile’ button

8) If you were referred to iWantGreatCare, select your referrer from the list provided, otherwise Select the ‘skip step’ button

^1*By default, this field is auto-populated with your full name. A patient will see this on your profile.

^2*You may add up to 3 webpages per profile. These can be your personal, or company websites

^3*profile images must be 800kb’s or less in size. To ensure your image meets the requirements, reduce its size using a standard photographic editing tool or to get help, send a request to the iWantGreatCare team at support@iwantgreatcare.org.

You have now successfully set up your iWantGreatCare account and profile. From here, you will see your account dashboard. Please note, all new accounts will need to be passed through a rigorous moderation process. This is to ensure accounts are valid and do not break the iWantGreatCare terms and conditions.
